A brutal ceremony in which the women are whipped mercilessly to show their love and affection has been revealed in pictures by a photographer.    A tribal ceremony during which young women are whipped in order to show the sacrifices they make for men is revealed in a series of photographs, according to a report by  Dailymail.

A tragedy has claimed eleven lives along the Ife-Ibadan Expressway on Sunday as men, women, children and babies were burnt to death after an 18-seater bus collided with a fuel tanker. The heartbreaking incident happened around 11am at a roundabout opposite Moremi Estate, in front of Energy Filling Station in Ile Ife causing serious gridlock in the area. It was gathered that the diesel-laden tanker was negotiating the roundabout when the passenger bus, which was said to be coming from Ore in Ondo State, reportedly rammed into it from behind. The impact caused the bus to catch fire and the passengers, who became unconscious due to the impact of the collision, became trapped inside the burning vehicle.

In a telephone conversation following the meeting of All Progressives Congress (APC) governors and leaders with President Muhammadu Buhari in London Sunday, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, said the President was very cheerful and has not lost any bit of his sense of humour. The governor said the party delegation spent more than an hour with President Buhari over lunch, and it was very clear from the discussions that he followed develo pments at home very closely.
