BREAKING:Catholic Church In Anambra State Invaded by Gunmen, Police confirms 11 Dead.
Gunmen numbering about 5 invaded St Philips Catholic Church, Amakwa Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area, Anambra state and killed over 50 worshippers(still unconfirmed). Latest report says many have died in the hospital. According to an eyewitness, the gunmen invaded the church around 7:30 am today, Sunday, August 6th, 2017 The death toll is on the increase as the injured and the dead bodies have been taken to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi. All the doctors and pharmacists attending mass in the hospital have retired to the theatre and casualty units for surgeries and treatment. The church was built by a South African-based business man and philanthropist, popularly known as Bishop. According to reports, Bishop left the town yesterday before today's unfortunate incident. Unconfirmed reports say that the gunmen, after the church massacre, proceeded to the philanthropist's house and shot his father dead. It has been confirmed that the problem
